Brent Breckenridge

Brent Breckenridge began his public accounting career at a large regional firm in San Francisco in 1994 and ultimately attained the position of manager.  At that firm,“ I gained exposure to clients in a number of industries,” he says. “A client who was a general contractor sparked my interest in the construction industry and I decided to take a job as a controller for a general contractor after approximately 7 years with the firm.”

Brent then worked in the industry—“on the inside,” as he likes to say—for approximately three years, which afforded him the opportunity to gain insight into issues “not always seen from a public accounting perspective.”

Wanting to return to the service sector, he joined Gallina to continue his exposure and growth as a professional while still connected to the construction industry. Here, he works with clients that may range from a sole-owner trade subcontractor to large, sophisticated general contractors, on all tax and accounting issues.

Brent is a member of the San Francisco Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and Construction Finance Management Associations. He volunteers as Treasurer for the Aircraft Carrier Hornet Foundation in Alameda. Brent lives in San Mateo, where he belongs to the local Elks Lodge, with his wife Laura and daughters Julia and Amelia.
