Frank V. Trythall

Frank is not only a business advisor… he’s a businessman.  His extensive experience includes serving as managing partner and president of Bartig, Basler & Ray, CPAs, Inc. from 1981 until 2006 when the firm merged its talents into GALLINA and vice president of W.F. Ranch, Inc., which is a corporation with cattle operations, as well as commercial real estate interest in California and Utah.

Not surprisingly, Frank has gained a wide variety of specialized financial skills during his career. He is well versed in financial planning and analysis, trusts and estates, organizational succession planning, finance consulting, management consulting, and business tax advisory services. “I understand the concerns and strategies of the businessperson because I have been one myself,” he says. “This gives me a unique perspective on the wide range of issues owners face every day.”

A 1969 graduate of Brigham Young University, he has worked with a variety of individuals, partnerships, and corporations in industries such as agriculture, agribusiness/ranching, healthcare, wholesale and retail merchandising, manufacturing, insurance, legal, real estate, and construction.

Frank’s vast expertise in multiple fields have enabled him to provide expert witness testimony in the areas of business interruption, valuations of closely-held businesses, mergers and acquisitions, property settlements, divorce, partner/shareholder disputes, and general accounting practices related to financial statements and tax matters. He has also served as a trustee on various trust and estate matters and has provided arbitration services to clients. A popular speaker at professional and civic conferences and gatherings, Frank’s clients have included Parker Development Company, which created the signature Serrano golf course community in El Dorado Hills, Pottery World, Jerry’s Paint & Supply, Inc., and Gregory Bragg & Associates, Inc., among many others.

Frank has also brought his enthusiasm into community service. He has served as a board member and baseball coach for his local little league and has volunteered at his local school and chamber of commerce. He has also provided support as a board member to the Boy Scouts of America’s Golden Empire Council. For three years, he and his wife lived in Ukraine where he supervised his church’s missionaries and humanitarian projects.
