GALLINA Partner Jason Cardinet has been a tax professional since 1987. Prior to joining GALLINA, he served as Managing Director of Tax for Deloitte & Touche’s Sacramento office. Jason has served a variety of industries, including construction, real estate, retail, media, healthcare, technology and agriculture. “By working with some of the largest and most complex organizations in Northern California, I’ve learned a great deal about the tax challenges and opportunities faced by a diverse range of businesses,” he says. “It allows me to bring a wide range of experience and practical solutions to GALLINA’s clients.”
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Utah and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Brigham Young University.
He has served retail clients such as The Gap, Ross Stores, Men’s Wearhouse, The North Face, Sleep Train, and Restoration Hardware. He has served media giant, McClatchy Newspapers and agricultural clients such as Diamond of California, Farmers’ Rice Cooperative, and SunSweet Dryers. Other clients have included Healthnet, Panattoni Development, Verizon Wireless, PG&E Properties, Northern Video Systems, and Net-linx Publishing Solutions.
In addition to his professional activities, Jason has also served as an elected trustee of the Amador County Unified School District and a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America. |
