Larry Taylor


Larry is the regional managing partner of GALLINA’s Northern California and Nevada offices.  He specializes in the construction, real estate development, mining, manufacturing, wholesale, and auto dealership industries.  His areas of expertise include accounting, auditing, business consulting, and tax advisory services. 

Larry’s extensive expertise in the construction and real estate industries allows him to effectively offer a variety of services to his clients.  Larry values providing responsive service and he works with a team of knowledgeable partners and staff who work together to anticipate the needs of GALLINA’s clients.  Before starting at the firm in 1980, Larry attended California State University, Sacramento, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  Shortly after joining GALLINA, he became a licensed CPA in both California and Nevada.  Larry is active in professional and trade associations, including:

  • Member and past board member of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of California — Delta Sierra District
  • Member and board member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA)
  • Member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA)
  • Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
  • Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE)

Larry is an AICPA peer review team captain.  This prestigious qualification allows him to perform peer review (quality control reviews) on other AICPA public accounting firms.  He also serves on various local and national committees for AGC and CFMA and he is actively involved in his church and local Boy Scout Troop. 

Larry enjoys spending time in the outdoors; he likes skiing, mountain biking, backpacking, camping, fly fishing, and playing golf.  Larry and his wife enjoy spending time with their five children and numerous grandchildren.
