Steve is the regional managing partner of GALLINA’s Bay Area offices. He provides accounting, tax, and consulting services primarily to construction companies on the Peninsula and in the South Bay Area.
As a longtime member and manager of GALLINA’s Bay Area basketball team — he has more than demonstrated his understanding of “net” value. The teams he managed were made up of players from the firm, as well as the firm’s clients and business associates.
Steve joined the firm in 1980, following graduation from California State University at Hayward, where he majored in Accounting and Management Information Systems. While in college, Steve competed in intercollegiate swimming and water polo for four years.
“I’m involved with a number of construction industry trade organizations, including the Associated General Contractors (AGC), the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), and the Engineering and Utility Contractors Association (EUCA),” he says. He has also served for many years as a committee member for the Construction Industry Lunch-O-Ree, which raises several hundred thousand dollars annually to support the San Francisco Bay Area Council of the Boy Scouts.
Steve is married with three children. He has enjoyed coaching his kids’ youth soccer and basketball teams for the past decade. He swims to stay in shape, enjoys reading historical books and novels, and loves traveling with his wife and family. |
